The Goshen County Main Street Program is excited to announce the Veterans Banner Program!!

Thursday, July 25, 2019

We are seeking local heroes with local connections to Goshen County to be recognized and honored with a patriotic banner. Banners will be proudly displayed in the Goshen County Community with which the Veteran is associated. This national program was created as a living tribute for communities to celebrate those who are currently serving or who have served in the United States Armed Forces and is a way for our community to give thanks to those who served.

A banner honoring your chosen hero can be purchased for $120.00, which includes a “Behind the Banners” publication telling the story of our local heroes as a memorable keepsake. Banners will be displayed during the month of November for two years (2019 and 2020). At the end of this term, banners will be given to their sponsors. To purchase a banner, please stop by or contact the Goshen County Chamber of Commerce.

This is a project sponsored by the Goshen County Main Street Committee and will take place in all participating communities—Torrington, Fort Laramie, Lingle, Yoder and LaGrange. Any proceeds beyond production costs will be donated to the Veteran’s municipality to help with future Main Street projects.
