Bonnie Randolph, MD, an emergency department and family medicine physician at Community Hospital, was recently recognized at the 48th annual Wyoming Trauma Conference as the EMS Medical Director of the Year for her work with local EMS agencies.
Dr. Randolph received the award for being highly engaged locally and with the state working to improve her professional competency in serving in her role and stepping forward as a leader in the organization.
Dr. Randolph has been with Banner Health for 21 years as a physician and volunteered for the role of EMS director with Goshen County Medical EMS four years ago. In her role of EMS director, Dr. Randolph reviews protocols, standardizes guidelines for the county and conducts trainings for EMS personnel.
“The nomination came as a complete surprise,” said Dr. Randolph. “It is a complete honor to receive this award. We are a small county with an incredible volunteer staff and I am so fortunate to be able to surround myself by such selfless, passionate members of the community.”
