Preparing students for the future

A recent report from the Education Trust found that about half of students graduate from high school without a clear plan for employment or post-secondary education. Schools can take steps to help remedy this problem.

The mission of the Goshen School District is to prepare each student to become a career and college ready citizen. Southeast Schools in Yoder offers career exploration and guidance opportunities for students from Kindergarten up to 12th grade.

Students have access to individual meetings and career aptitude testing. Upper level students can explore specific fields such as criminal justice, sonography and business.
