A winery in Wyoming

Since 1926, four generations of Zimmerers have been farming an array of crops in Huntley, Wyoming. Patrick Zimmerer’s college thesis can be credited as sparking an exciting new crop for the family farm.
A winery in Wyoming may seem unlikely. But Patrick’s project began with a trial test of 300 grape vines. The success of these initial plantings led to a full-scale winery. Table Mountain Vineyards is now a 10-acre, 10,000-vine operation that uses 100 percent Wyoming grown ingredients.
The vineyard grows 12 different grape varieties, including: Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Valiant, Marchechal Foch, Elvira, and Marquette. It also produces fruit and honey wines. TMV hosts fun events like painting classes and concerts.
