The Pioneer Community Center, formerly the Fort Laramie elementary school, is newly renovated as a community center. The Center features a computer training lab, a used book store, a conference meeting room, and private office suites. The Community Hall will seat 300+ for receptions, convents, private and public functions; additional features are a complete theater stage, a commercial catering kitchen, private lounge, spacious lobby entry, and ample private parking.

The Pioneer Community Center hosts several annual events:

• Pioneer Center Craft and Artisan Show held in June each year. 32 indoor vendor spaces regularly sell out quickly to artisans from throughout Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. The show features hand-made wood furniture, butcher block and scroll saw art, fiber crafts and quilts, homemade soap, jewelry, oil and watercolor art, gourmet jams and jellies, and wildlife photography. The 2015 show is scheduled for June 13.

• Pioneers Playhouse Dinner Theatre puts on dinner and a show each summer. The show features local actors and actresses and has been wildly successful.
